I was born and raised in Villa Park, graduating from Willowbrook High School. I received my undergraduate degree in Political Science and Chemistry (Biology minor), from Boston University. My law degree (with honors) is from the George Washington University. I have always been passionate about science, and am thrilled to use that knowledge in my private sector work.
I moved to Elmhurst to raise my family. My husband’s business is local in Elmhurst; and my children attend Elmhurst public schools. I’ve built a successful private-sector business defending people, including against aggressive, well-funded opponents.
If you want to see an independent, proven reformer down in Springfield, Vote for me, Deanne Marie Mazzochi, as your State Representative.
On the Issues
Spending and accounting allegations raised must be transparently resolved.
An objective perspective:
Springfield needs some fresh faces to review current spending habits; tackle problems; and smart legislation.
Protect your assets:
The public deserves an advocate ensuring their taxes are not needlessly raised; and their tax dollars are spent ethically, transparently, and in support of initiatives with strong bipartisan support.
I believe in as much local control over your tax dollars as possible.
As a lawyer and a scientist, my politics align with the Republican party because over the long haul, the practical evidence confirms that governments that adhere to principles of incentivizing self-reliance; fiscal responsibility; and local charity deliver the best—and most just—results.
